| Time like this |
I juz bought a new leather pencil case for 9 bucks! And a pink Bad Girl's power planner from Urban. It's so cool to get a new, hip planner and to get rid of the boring, old one. I spent time since 6 pm doing my study plan. The work is really tedious. Gonna set up an appointment with an academic advisor next week, write a letter to MSD and sees how it goes from there. Hmm...I wonder when I should talk to Bob again. I really hope I can graduate in time. And I do hope too, I made the right choice. What I choose to do will affect my future in a big way. Let's just wish I don't step into a big, dirty puddle.
I want to sambut Raya at home! I want my granddad, and my auntie's 'biskut ganja'! So sedap and addictive....you can never get 'biskut ganja' like hers anywhere else. Time like this always remind me of my grandmas who passed away 2 years ago..may Allah bless their souls. Ever since they were gone, Raya mood at my kampung changed in a big way. In fact, during the first Raya without my grandma on my dad's side, we didn't even go to Beranang since no one came home to gather...all pergi lepak Batu Pahat(my first auntie's hse)...adoi, so bosan! At Kajang, no more nenek to cook lemang and to nag in her Minang accent about what everything we did weren't rite. No more her to complaint how bad I chop the onions...hahaha. Old nannies, I guess, that's just what they do. Tho' it was kinda annoying sumtimes, but heyy, I miss that now! I wish, for once, I juz wish.....God can turn back time, to the time before my grandmas passed away, to the time before I broke up, to the time before I launched a major 'mogok' to my parents, so I can mend all those things I regret doing. Mama sent an e-card thanking me for being a wonderful daughter. Am I? |
