Young And Dangerous
I think by now everyone should know that I am a Cantonese movies freak, especially their thriller/action packed movies. I don't like movies that involve too much guns and bombs, shooting from helicopters and cars crashing into a big lorry tank like many typical American thriller movies. I guess that's why I love epics too coz they fight with swords, bows and armors. Anywayz, everyone should know that Young and Dangerous series are one of the best Hong Kong triad movies ever made. Do not tell me you don't know who Ho-Nam and Chicken was. It's like not knowing Corleone from The Godfather series. Therefore, in this month of March, in conjunction with my spring break, I will bring back the era of Young and Dangerous to my home. The CDs will be arriving to my apartment anytime soon and I am very excited about it. I've already started with The Prequel. And the 'tayangan' of the first CD will start on the first night of Spring Break. Anyone who are interested can join me and my hommies. Maybe we can even have a potluck or a sleepover. Additional info: Also showing are Helen of Troy, Pirates of the Carribean, Big Fish, School of Rock among others!

P/S: In conjunction with Young and Dangerous, My Hitz Vid for this month will mostly consists of Hong Kong actors or trailers. First round, enjoy Around the World in 80 Days!

Money In 'em Pocket
I am totally worried about the Midwest games expenses. Jersey will cost at most $27.50. Accomodation will sum up to $59.99 for 3 nights. Dinner ceremony will cost another $5. God knows how much the transportation and food will cost. But for sure, it's gonna be expensive since this is Mineapolis & St Paul-Twin Cities I am talking about. Tax is definitely higher. I remembered just paying $20-inch for last year's 3 nights accomodation in Purdue. I don't wanna pay so much for just going to some games. Haih....as Nick said, money is always the root of evil. Because of money constraint too, I have to postpone my intentions going to Europe this summer. And I have to work my ass off to save money for other plans in summer. Me AM DEFINTELY not gonna be stuck here in Madison.

P/S: To Deya, pink books rulez...hehe. I have a pink organizer/power planner ;)

Gilz Best
I've just watched clip 'Miss You Love' Silverchair Live In Rio last 2-3 days. Very rocking! Daniel Johns sangat hebat! And toast to Staind too in their Live Acoustic Tribute to Metallica. Aaron Lewis has the greatest voice, and he sings Nothing Else Matters like no others can. Should I get Silverchair Live from Faraway Stables?

Euro 2004 Portugal
Spain, Italy, France, Germany and many more. Which team are you supporting for? 111 days to Euro 2004 kickoff. More at eufa.com. Too bad here in the States we don't have mamak stalls and big tv screen to watch the tournaments like in Bangsar.

THE Architect
My friends always told me my dream man will never exist. Hah, you people are wrong.... I've just found one! Whoaa. :p . Well, almost found one because I don't know his music skills yet. Born in San Francisco and speaking Cantonese in American accent, he definitely has the flatters. He is tall (183cm) and well built, has a degree in architecture from University of Oregon and he has been practicing kungfu for 10 years, which means he sports. He IS actor and model Daniel Wu. Some of the movies he starred in are Young & Dangerous The Prequel, Love Undercover and Purple Storm. Next big projects will be New Police Story and Around The World in 80 days.

Everything happens for a reason
My heart was touched, and my eyes was brought to tears when I read an article in Utusan Malaysia. The link is as below:

Nur Atiqah Need Immediate Surgery.

First, I pity the parents who must have suffer terribly seeing their own 9-month-daughter battling a sickness. But foremost I pity the baby. She is still so small, so fragile and can't never understand what she is battling with, yet she can feel a throbbing pain in her heart with only a small amount of energy to endure it. If I were extremely rich, I would have donated the balance of money needed for the surgery to be done. To Malaysians who have donated, I am proud that they have a bigger and caring heart. To those who pity but are not able to donate, you people have a big heart too. The best I can do, is to hope that the little girl will keep on fighting and will survive her battle. If she doesn't, than God must have love her more than we can imagine.

A Reality
Dean appearance in Gilmore Girls today is a total comfort. I've been wondering what actually happen to him since his marriage in last season Gilmore's. After watching today's episode, I couldn't help but hoping that one day, I will have a boyfriend or a mate as good and as great as him. He's tall, he's good-looking, he dressed nicely, he's so warming and caring and he's protective, yet he gives freedom his girlfriend needed. Plus, he knows how to charm and make good relationship with a mother. Though he has certain flaws, it is almost impossible to find that flaws in him. Ain't that a quality? Mind me if you think I am sappy or being unrealistic, but I bet everyone of you out there has your own fantasy of your ideal girl/guy. Some girls want guy looks like Mr Pitt or Johnny Depp, or as charming as Matthew McCoughney and some guys may want someone as hot as JLo or as delicate as Wardina. As I've mentioned, preference is really subjective. So, it is never wrong to idealize, be it perfect or imperfect.
BUT I SURE DO KNOW, I WANT A GUY LIKE DEAN.

Starry Eyed Surprise
Today, I wanna make a tribute to my great friends out there who have been there for me all this while. Sorry Tyiara if curi your idea from your journal entry couple of days back...hahaha, but I guess since today is Valentine's Day, it's the best day to express my love. I like you and your whole family too! Say congrats to you sister for her wedding, kay! So here goes:

Puteri - I guess you're the longest best friend I ever have, and also one of the most beautiful. Thanks for the letter you just sent to me. It was quite a surprise. I bet opening back up all those school junk letters do remind of the good back old times. You're especially true about the part of me getting jealous you're closer to Pial and drifting far apart from me. Well, well....if not because of the hard times, we wouldn't have been close like this, rite? You're the most sensible one among all; whenever I seek for advice or a shoulder to cry on. You were there for me when I have a misunderstanding with Pial, and you were there for me when I first broke up. Remember how we alwayz drop all other petty stuffs when one of the three of us get into some sort of trouble? I have never see such strong bond of friendship except for in 'Ada Apa dengan Cinta'...hahaha. We don't always talk or hang out together every other day but yet somehow, we connect the most. And I love our trip to Kuantan!! You just have so much of liveliness in you. Remember no matter what trouble you get into, never hesitate to come to me.

Pial - You're a crazy beautiful, you know that?! Ahh...without Pial in my life, all the colors are gone. She's the most adventurous one, and may I say the bubbliest. There's always something up her sleeve, and up her mind that she just couldn't get rid of. Full of energy you are...and yet you never tire me. Last summer break when I went back was one of the best times. Hanging out or calling almost every other day. Making plans to go here and there, spilling out the latest gossips and secrets or just wasting time at your house with the rest of the group. School life was challenging when we sometimes hurt each other feelings without meaning it, but in the end you are still as solid as rock and I am still there beside you to make sure you are okay and well. Every Sunday morning jogging side by side, every evening playing basketball and hockey. When school ends, we are still as close as ever, exploring the wilder side of life. I miss you very much darling!

Arina - Aren't you the hottest in the group? Combine her head with Pial and woo..... I can even the express the right word for it. You're also the impulsive one. You don't care what others say about you. You speak your mind. And I love you for that. Being a dormmate with you is great! It made us closer. In a way, Arina is different. We don't really share the same taste and characteristics, but she has this magnetic power and attraction that it is just wrong not to be friends with her. Aren't your gurl? Thank you for introducing me to Guess handbags. You got good taste!

Hawa - My friend-cum-relative. You're so far in Scotland and I don't see you always anymore these days. How's your parents, nenek and the rest of the family? Hawa has a great smile and a great laugh, no one can deny that. And she also is with great intelligence. You're so smart you made to IC, I am so proud of you! One thing we agree, we don't like big crowds in KLCC, it sure give us headaches! She has the freshest idea, and she always know how to have fun. I can never get upset when I'm with her. I just admire her coolness...and again your laugh!

Nanie - She is the only one who call me Frack. And I love you for that. We bond since we first met and the friendship continue to grow. We were in the same dorm for four years, so you've basically known my true color. Nanie is whom I call the teaser. She has the strongest heart too. I know you've been through much trouble back then, and a few times I share the same trouble, but it is always she who is stronger. Without her beside me, I may have fallen apart to pieces. Nanie is also the most creative, and the one with aritistic talent. Gurl, I love your voice!

Serene - Sometimes you worry too much. But no fuss, I am always there to back you up. I am in the first place your tour guide in KL, rite? We've known for only 3-4 years, but the April girls just connect! We've been to so many events together such as AIM, Formula One and Camp in Janda Baik to name a few. And we are always telling stuffs to your mom. Remember when we tell her how cute Brother Moez is? Hahaha....and thanks for listening to me when I am totally, totally down about my studies. You're the best! She has fully mature from a shy girl to a girl who knows her priorities. I am so proud of you! Did I teach you that? Ehe...

And to my other friends, there're just to much to write about here but you people are as valuable as the names I mention above: Elliana, Aqish, Linda, Kakno, Yunni, Aseng, Fakhrul, Syukran, Izwan, Jaygan. You people are the coolest!

Revolving Door
Let me tell you people once again. I HATE PUNK ROCK except for the original Greenday.
I like rock music. I am in love with Silverchair & Coldplay. I think U2 and
Staind are great bands.
I love Linkin Park and only Linkin Park. I don't like other numetal bands.
I dance and I am jovial when I listen to hip hop. Eminem, Sean Paul and Chingy rocks.
The only divas that I admire are Mariah Carey and Faith Hill.
And I listen to Indonesian bandsDewa and Padi.

If you don't agree with me, that's the least of my problem. Preference is a subjective matter.
Happy Valentine's Day everyone.

PHSM
Hola....ich habe fertig meine Assignment nicht but I don't care anymore. Malas to think about it. So anywayz, a new love-horror movie by Shuhaimi Baba is coming out this May. The title is 'Pontianak Harum Sundal Malam'. From what I've read and heard, this movie may be a good one. Dah lama since Malaysia last released ghost movies. Plus, Shuhaimi Baba usually does produce movies that are, how do I say this...more artistic and more intelligent. Not like all those cerita hantu craps 'Mistik' and 'Momok'. Check out the website at Pontianak Harum Sundal Malam and try looking at the photo gallery. It feels like a long time since I watch Malay horror movies. Not since that cerita with Noorkumalasari and another cerita with Zami Ismail as casts. Ahh, no no. The last that I watched is the 'Mokhtar2' stageshow at KUSESS during our Pioneer Nite when in Form 2. That is a real helluva scary one, allrite. Bravo to the casts and stagecrews and whoever yang mimic the ghost laugh. No one could sleep that nite after watching the show. Siapa-siapa in Malaysia, nanti post me the PHSM VCD once it is out occay. Peace and out.

What Would You Do
It has been about a week since I last posted a journal. This is probably because I have a lot of assignments due. Hmm...no, actually not but I have ONE assignment that requires a strenous amount of time. Imagine this. You spent the whole weekend doing a program that has a total output of three lines. Then just yesterday you figured out from your partner what you and she did was inefficient and you were asked to write and entirely new coding. AND the assignment is due tomorrow. Aren't you in a deep f**king trouble? Well, believe it or not, that's my life. To add the unfortunate, my program still can't run properly. And I have just done one part of it! Aku tak tau la ape pasal die bagi area merapu-rapu!!! I am seriously giving up already. I have three more homeworks due by Thursday which I haven't started on because of this stupid programming assignment. Bangang nak mampos! And disebabkan tahap bengang/upset melampau, I usually do 3 impulsive things:
(1) Go driving aimlessly around town
(2) Shopping macam orang gila
(3) Cut my hair

Since at this time around, the only affordable option is Option 3, I have cut my hair short and ugly. Muahaha, I now officially look uglier than the most horrendous person in the world. Thank you to my programming assignment, you have certainly make me day. Damn......

The Guy at the Bar
One of the questions discussed in my Statistics lecture today was rather funny and interesting. Here's the question:

There are 10 men sitting at a bar. 8 are drunk and 2 are sober. One of them is really cute and you want to go talk to him, but first you sit at the bar and check them out for 10 minutes. From previous experience, you know that if he is drunk, then the probability he goes to the bathroom in the next 10 minutes is 0.7 but if he is sober, the probability he goes to the bathroom in the next 10 minutes is 0.1. He indeed goes to the bathroom in the next 10 minutes. What is the probability that he is sober?

Know the answer? You go figure and tell me!
