It's winter break, so nothing exciting happens. Since I was bored, I spent a couple of hours playing around for a new blog skin and hence this new design. I really wanted to go out and breathe some fresh air, but since I ain't have money and there's nowhere that I can go for free, I am still stuck in my little apartment. Haih.. I wish I have a car so I can drive around.

So what have I been doing since the break started? I went for a movie marathon Huda last week. Spent about 10 hrs 30 mins in the cinema, watching 4 movies back-to-back starting from 12.30pm until 10.50pm. And all for $4 only! I like them all..the movies I mean. We watched King Kong, which was superb. It was a little bit more than 3 hours movie but I didn't really realize the time passing by because I was enjoying the movie so much. Then, watched Chronicles of Narnia, Memoirs of Geisha and Cheaper by The Dozen 2. Cheaper 2 is funny but no way it is as funnier as Cheaper 1. Cheaper 1 hella rocks, especially the part with Ashton and the dog. Next week, maybe, I'll go for another round of marathon to watch Casanova and Munich.

Other than that, I pretty much just sit and lazying around at home, finishing up whatever dramas that I've downloaded. Really, nothing exiting happens.

Can't wait for Casanova to come out this Christmas. Been missing Heath Ledger on screen, and this winter he has two movies coming out, with one of them being a potential Oscar nomination. That's a good thing. I watched Gosford Park yesterday, and I still cannot faham lerr... Who's the murderer actually? The maid? And if I figure it right, I could not get why she wanted to kill the host. Duh.. I'm so bad at understanding English accent. But it was a good movie nevertheless.

Winter holidays has finally started. I finished my exams yesterday but I don't know whether I'll perform well. I couldn't complete some questions from my Stats exam, and they are worth couple points. Food Science questions are confusing. Hated them. I am never good at Biology and never will. Furthermore, I am still at Hanadan post depression mode, yeah..still, so nothing much can cheer me up at the moment besides listening to Planetarium. This is going to be another boring winter break. No money, nowhere to go. Life is usually ain't good to me during winter. On another note, PMR result was out yesterday. I wonder how my sister do.... gotta call home.

I'm in post Hanadan depression mode. After back-to-back runs from Meteor Garden in summer break and continuing with Hanadan in fall semester, and now everything comes to an end. It's almost an illusion, for me, and I believe the same goes for all the fans out there. I remember this happening to me when Friends ended. After 10 years and suddenly no more Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Ross, Chandler and Joey... it was hard to take. Yeah, me and my tv shows affair..it is kinda hard to believe sometimes. But only through them can I laugh my ass off over their silly antics.

Anywayz, two more finals to go on Wednesday. Tapi malas giler nak belajar. As it usually happened during finals week. Why, eh? The nearer it is to finals, the more 'malas' I become. Weirdo...

Iro irona tokoro ikitai desu. There're a lot of places in this world that I wanted to go to. But these destinations below are in my top 5 list right now:

Greece. Ever since I watched Helen of Troy, I've been interested in knowing more of the life of ancient Greek. And when I took my Greek class last two semesters, there's no doubt that this is the first place in the world that I wanna go.

Turkey. Been wanting to go here since I was little after I browsed through my auntie's photos collection. And friends who've been there certainly agreed that it's a beautiful country.

Hawaii babe. Who doesn't wanna go there? Gorgeous Maui Island is to die for! Aloha~~

Italy. To look for gorgeous Italian men. Hahaha..ok, that was a lie. But the canals are so enchanting it is irresistable. Seen so much of it on TV, learn so much of it in history class, the next best thing to do is to actually visit the place!

Taiwan is definitely off the radar compared to the four countries above, isn't it? But what's the point of transitting at Taipei Airport everytime I travel back and forth from US-Malaysia without actually visiting the country? I hear the place is pretty and the shopping is sure cheap. The guys must be hot too. So why not go and have some fun?

Now, if only I have money to visit these 5 places. But ganbarimasu yo. I'll make sure I visit all of them someday. The only place I am certain I am going to visit right now is Phuket on next year September. Yups, me mom already bought the ticket for it. Now I have about 8 months time to convince my mom to detour to the city of Bangkok while we were there. Whee... I love Asian.

How can Nicole won the Season 6 American Next Top Model?! Nik should have won it. Though a bit racist I am, I really vote for her all the way. I think she is so beautiful and her face is just so amazing. There's something about her that makes her stands out. Nicole, on the other hand, looks like a typical American girl I can find at my college. Nothing unique whatsoever. I have never liked her since her first day on the show anyway. But ape-apelah, the show is over already. And Naima's still my favorite ANTM.

I miss the OC today because I was so caught up analyzing and writing up report for my final Stats project. Bengang btol. This has never happened before. And I also missed the full show of VH1 Big in 2005 Award a few days ago. Only watch the last hour of it but I think the end performance by Def Leppard really caught my attention. Old-school rock flavor is just so "the bomb". For the coming Grammy, I hope Mariah Carey wins big. This perempuan is the ONLY female singer that I truly like. Sure, Gwen and Lene Marlin's great too but their songs just kinda fade out after a period of time. On the other hand, Mariah's stay. Since before the Hero era. Kudos to Emancipation of Mimi. I shall get the full album soon.

And minna, anybody up for a movie marathon after finals? Looks like there are great lineups for this year winter break. We shall go watch Narnia, King Kong, Memoirs of Geisha and Brokeback Mountain. And if they are still screening by then, we shall catch Derailed, Pride and Prejudice and Harry Potter too. Fuh..best best.

I Jukil Nomui Sarang. Or Ijuksa for short. A Love to Kill in English. This show is SOOO good. It started off confusing but the pace quickens after a few episodes. Yesterday, I watched Episode 11 and I feel like crying for the whole one hour. I did become teary eyed for a while. I guess the music did it. Korean ballad can be so emotional, I guess they're the best foreign music to listen to after American and Brit music.

Everything was just so sad on yesterday's episode, especially seeing the two main characters suffering like that. For those who are totally blank, Ijuksa is a story about love and revenge. A man who was forced to leave her girlfriend after she became a celebrity, fell off his rooftop after hearing an announcement of her girl getting engaged to a powerful guy in the business industry. Now in a vegetable state, his brother seek revenge on this girl by working as a bodyguard. Fooling the girl to fall in love with him and soon left her heartbroken, only did he realize then he indeed has fallen in love with her and that his brother's condition is not at all her fault. This is not the usual mushy-mushy crybaby Korean love story usually seen on TV, and I am glad I am taking a liking on it. Perhaps one of the best Asian dramas I have watched out there.

Can't wait to watch Episode 12 tonight. Hopefully something good or happy will happen in this one. ...And wish me luck for my Japanese speech this Friday.

I kinda in love with this song right now, so I thought I put it up. Hated the fans at the back, clapping like that to a rock-ballad song, whutthaheck? But ahh, just ignore it and pay attention to the song. The singer, Akanishi Jin in my opinion, is just a mirror-image of a younger Kimura Takuya. Except that perhaps Jin has a better singing voice. Just have to dig in deeper to know that what I am saying is true.

Hey y'all. Nothing exciting happened during my off period on this blog. Except for maybe the long break last week since it was Thanksgiving. This year Thanksgiving was a bit different from my previous years. First, I was invited to Shaz's house for a Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday night. Fariza from CWRU came down here, so together with her and my other gurlfrens we went. It was a feast, I'm telling ya. There were so much food including the traditional Thanksgiving food and they were all so finger-licking delicious. The turkey was HUGE and Shaz baked two of them. The mashed potate tasted good, the mihun tomyam tasted good, the pecan praline tasted good and even the sandwich was so sedap! Hands down to her, she's one hell of a cook. Later that night, we all played Dance Dance Revolution(DDR). Considered that my first time. Deya & Ija are practically like professional dancers, a paidoff they get for playing the game the whole summer. It was fun, sweating like a pig after eating like a pig. Played for about 2-3 hours before decided to go to bed.

The next day I did nothing much. And yups, for the first time, I skipped the Black Friday Sale. I couldn't think of anything to buy anyway. I just sat around my room and watched some videos and finished one of my homeworks. Practiced some more DDR in the evening. Alone this time since the girls left for Milwaukee. Skills slightly improved but still nowhere near good. On Saturday, I continued lazying around my room and went out for a walk at State Street at noon. Later at night, Lomu came down from Milwaukee, so we spent some good time catching up since we haven't talked since I-don't-know-when. Then, we did karaoke and it was super duper fun. I love karaoke'ing' even though my voice is blurgh...hehe. Karaoke'ed' till before midnight, then went grocery shopping with Lomu, Nick & Fido and later headed to Denny's for a late dinner/early breakfast.

On Sunday, I woke up at somwhere around 1pm. Yeah..then only did I freak out a bit since I have so many homeworks to do and an exam to study for. But this being my last Thanksgiving, I am so glad it was a nice and relaxing Thanksgiving. Unlike last year when it was fun at the beginning(shopping at Kenosha) but then I completely went off track when I lost my senses with the world for a good 3 hours. Talk about not having enuff sleep.
