I was watching Love Collage, starring Ryuhei Matsuda and Hirosue Ryoko, the other day on Astro. Half of the filming was done in New York and one of the main cast was an African American guy who helped Matsuda from a thug attack at the street of New York and later on helped him find Hirosue. Apparently he loved Japanese people and he was a gay, which made Matsuda worried if the man was attracted to him. What perplexed me if his response to his worry: "Don't worry man, you're not my type. But if you're Kimu Taku, I would be all over you by now". And I was like, "Haa?".
Anywayz, that is not the topic of my entry today. There was another show I was watching on TV the other day. Yes Dear sitcom on Starworld, in which the story went about how the family of a guy who live together tried to help the guy fulfill his wishlist which he had done some time ago. Funny events occured along the way but that is not the issue here.
Since then I've been thinking that I want to have a wishlist too. That way, it drives me to do things. Plus, I am already an adult, and I have to really start thinking what I want to do or have in life no matter how silly or impractical they are. So I have come up with these 10 wishes:
1. To find a good position in a multinational company that has long establish solid achievements 2. To own my own home and have it look like one of the model photos in Ikea magazine 3. To use SK-II as my daily facial care 4. To own and/or drive a BMW and a Beetle 5. To have Ariel from Peterpan sing a song for me (hahaha) 6. To have an overflowing wardrobe full of fashionable clothes, watches, shoes, handbags and sunglasses so I don't wear the same outfit everytime I go out with my friends 7. To be able to continue my Japanese language study and to actually be able to use the language daily (I am forgetting my Japanese already!)by working or living in Japan or have lotsa close Japanese friends 8. To go back to my old self when I was 16-21, when I was more sociable, fun, outspoken and friendly, a time when I was with 16FC and my MMU friends 9. To possess photobooks and autographs signed by these people: Zidane, Figo, Kimura Takuya, Johnny Depp 10. To find a great love, a man whom I can love sincerely and forever and for him to love me back sincerely and forever too
Ahakz...sorryler for those who can't read Japanese. I miss the language so much so I thought of posting my entry in that language. Nah, gue kasi lo nonton one of my favorite songs at the moment. From Dewa 19- Sedang Ingin Bercinta.
One day, for sure, I hope. I will attend their concert.
Nihongo ga daisukida! Below, is my final Japanese project presentation. The script, 90% was written by me (yeay!). Only people who can read Japanese can read this:
I always ponder on this question. How long will an obsession last? I dislike so many things in this world, but there are certains which I am totally obsessed with, such as:
(a) The color orange. I have loved this color since high school. I do not own many orange things, but I do wish my mom have had painted my room orange. My Ipod case is orange, and I love my orange fake Von Dutch cap I bought in Phuket. This year, both my baju kurung Raya is orange, and I have another one, still untailored. Also in orange.
(b) Golden-brown accessories. They're just sooo lovely I can't resist buying them. I have 3 handbags of this color, also a pair of slippers and a pair of sandals. I bought for my mom wallet and handbag, both in brown. And I also happen to love brown tops. Am I crazy?
(c) Japanese entertainer & superstar Kimura Takuya. I don't know what he has that attracts me, maybe his confidence and ego, but he just shines, no matter how silly he tried to be sometimes. Even after these years, he continues to impress. He made me do things which I never plan to do in this life before. Like taking up Japanese. Eating shushi. Thanks to him, I have added another language skill in my resume.
(d) Watching dramas. I can't stop. I really can't. Unless I am traveling, I go crazy if I don't watch at least one episode per day. I like Japanese, so-so on Korean & Taiwanese, and I love those kung-fu like HK dramas they show on Malaysian TVs, but I also do enjoy Desperate Housewives, Prison Break, The OC, Gol & Gincu and Realiti. I wish we can get Fox, WB and ABC over here. This Malaysian TV is so slow on American shows!
When will I stop liking and doing these thing above? When I get older? When I get married...if I ever will? But it good to obsess over things. It adds color to your life. Everyday, you have something to look forward to. Even in my time of sadness, it is a comfort that I can watch my orange fish swimming happily and find a good laugh in my dramas.
