The whole nation (who cares) are probably aware of it right now. The tragic news that has come to me early in this year 2008 is the untimely death of young actor Heath Ledger, my first Aussie crush and one of my short list of favorite Hollywood actors.

I was in Manila when I first heard the news. I came down to breakfast, my friend told me that the news was over at CNN the night before and she thought the name reported was Heath Ledger. The reason said was drug, and I just brushed it off as it strucked me as odd for Heath to be linked to drug. I went up to my room and tuned into CNN....and it turned out to be correct. I was actually rushing out to check out of the hotel but the news kinda strucked me dumb. And it still is. I was moody the whole way back to KL.

Ledger being an actor that I revered highly, I was still pretty much in denial in just how much longer before I can accept that he truly has left this world. With The Dark Knight scheduled to be released in middle of the year, his presence on screen lingers around me and I can't believe that when I were to watch the movie, I will be watching a person already dead whose movie has just been released. This month only, before my trip to Manila, I've rewatched his "A Knight's Tale" and "Casanova". Now, everytime I read a historical novel(which I usually do), I can't stop thinking of him parading in his armor in A Knight's Tale or him jollying around in Casanova.

It is heartbreaking. I am saddened. I can't imagine my movie life without more Ledger in it.

The most romantic line I've ever encountered in a novel, or as a matter of fact, in this universe so far, is this:

Female: What is the most beautiful place you've ever seen?
Male: Any place...where you are.

Is it 'meloyakan' to some people? Haha..but I do sincerely think that no other words are better than the above to compliment your other half, is it not?

I have finally catch up on my long lost of hobby of reading this past few months since Raya. Since business is slow at the moment, I have more time to myself & I've bought more than 6 books since then for reading. 2 of them, I finished during my 5-nights holiday in Terengganu. Oh by the way, Terengganu beach is so awesome & beautiful. And the wind is so strong it has got to be the best natural air-cond. Though there was nothing much to do at that small town, I did find pleasure in just being by the beach & reading non-stop in my cozy hotel bed.

5 things I can't live without:

1) Chicken meat
2) Computer
3) Dramas
4) Loose, big size T-shirts (that I always put on whenever I can)
5) Bed

New Year's nearing. My next post will be faces that made me happy or sad throughout 2007.

I am guilty for not having update this blog for more than a month. Everything kinda halt because work took a whole lot of my time. And being stressed too. When I'm free, I am not in the mood. But all that heavy workload is off the shoulder now. Though not entirely yet. I spent my free time watching The OC S4, Prison Break S2, a few karaoke sessions with my closest friends and loving my April.

Now let's talk about something fun but meaningless. Just to get off the stress. First, current, last...whatever crushes.

First American celebrity crush: Jonathan Brandis
Current American celebrity crush: Brad Pitt

First UK celebrity crush: Colin Firth(who doesn't like Mr. Darcy?)
Current UK celebrity crush: Still Colin Firth

First Aussie celebrity crush: Heath Ledger
Current Aussie celebrity crush: Orlando Bloom

First Japan celebrity crush: Kimura Takuya
Current Japan celebrity crush: Still Kimura Takuya. And Tamayama Tetsuji.

First HK celebrity crush: Leon Lai
Current HK celebrity crush: Andy Lau

First Korean celebrity crush: Lee Ji Hoon
Current Korean celebrity crush: Gong Yoo

First Hollywood female celebrity crush: Catherine Zeta Jones
Current Hollywood female crush: Keira Knightley

First Asian female celebrity crush: Gigi Lai
Current Asian female celebrity crush: Song Hye Kyo

First high school crush in 1st high school: Faiz... Ku...
First high school crush in 2nd high school: Sya...n
First local college crush: Sa..i
First abroad college crush: H....s
First American college crush: John sth sth
Current crush: Nobody.

So many crushes but nobody that I really like at the moment in real life. Sad, isn't it? I am content just having April by my side for now..

The return of the 'taukeh' doesn't help ease the stress in the office. If only, but the stress is more. My brain hurts. Endless hours spend on Saturday to ease myself didn't help that much. I believe almost everyone in my team work from home during the weekend. And that include myself.

The only cure for the workload stress is to stare at a really good looking face. And I am lucky I have a hella good looking Tamayama Tetsuji face to look at everyday on my desktop. Or on my handphone. It made me forget about the face of my 'taukeh'. I want to date and marry a man as good looking as Tamayama. But first I need to lose weight, be more sociable and wear pretty clothes. Then move to another country. Can I achieve all that within the next 6 months?
